Haemin Lee
Research Judge, Supreme Court
Judge Haemin Lee currently serves as a Research Judge at the Supreme Court of Korea. Prior to this role, she was a judge at the Seoul Bankruptcy Court and held judicial positions at several district courts, including the Seoul Central District Court and the Daejeon District Court. She was seconded to the Permanent Bureau of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) from 2021 to 2022 and has participated in various international legal forums as a delegate, including UNCITRAL Working Groups and the HCCH Experts’ Group on the Jurisdiction Project.
She holds an LL.M. from Stanford Law School, where she also conducted research as a visiting fellow, and a Master of Laws from Seoul National University, where she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. Her work has focused on international investment law and dispute resolution, and she has served as Korea’s National Correspondent for the UNCITRAL Case Law on UNCITRAL Texts (CLOUT) since 2009.
