Kantasorn Methasakunwong
Director, Central Authority and Intercountry AdoptionSubdivision, Child Adoption Center, Department of Children and Youth, Ministry of Social Developmentand Human Security
Kantasorn Methasakunwong is the Director of the Central Authority and Intercountry Adoption Subdivision at the Child Adoption Center, Department of Children and Youth, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security in Thailand, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this, she served as Director of the Secretariat to the Child Adoption Board Subdivision earlier in 2024.
Since 2012, Ms. Methasakunwong has worked as a Social Development Officer and, since 2017, as a Special Education Teacher at Vichaiyut Hospital. She holds a Master’s degree with second-class honours in Special Educational Needs and Inclusion from the University of Northampton in the UK, completed in 2016.
