His experience also extends to legal diplomacy, having served as First Secretary at the Embassy of Japan in the Netherlands, and to governmental legal policy through his work with the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme Court’s Civil Affairs Bureau.

Professor Inoue earned his LL.B. from the University of Tokyo and qualified for legal practice through the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court. He later pursued advanced legal studies abroad, earning an LL.M. from the University of Edinburgh. His combined expertise in both domestic and international legal spheres provides a valuable foundation for his academic contributions and ongoing engagement with complex legal issues in Japan and beyond.
