Tiong Min Yeo
Professor, Singapore Management University
Professor Tiong Min Yeo is a renowned legal academic at the Yong Pung How School of Law, Singapore Management University, where he has been a faculty member since 2007. Prior to this, he held various academic positions at the National University of Singapore, progressing from Senior Tutor to Associate Professor over nearly two decades. His research excellence was further recognized during his tenure as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. Professor Yeo’s expertise spans commercial conflict of laws and choice of law doctrines, demonstrated by his influential publications including Commercial Conflict of Laws and contributions to Halsbury’s Laws of Singapore.
A recipient of numerous prestigious awards, Professor Yeo’s dedication to legal education and public service is widely acknowledged. Among his honors are the Distinguished Educator Award from Singapore Management University, the Ministry of Law Partner of the Year Award, and the Singapore Academy of Law Merit Award. He also holds the title of Senior Counsel (honoris causa), reflecting his outstanding contributions to Singapore’s legal community. His academic credentials include a DPhil and BCL from the University of Oxford, as well as an LLB from the National University of Singapore.
